A man has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was found inside a home in Melbourne’s east yesterday.
The 57-year-old woman’s body was found in Anthony Court, Burwood East about 9.40am.
Homicide squad detectives charged the Clayton South man, 68, late last night after relatives of the woman raised the alarm.
The man was remanded in custody and is expected to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
Police said they were not looking for anyone else in relation of the incident.
