UPAC anti-corruption unit raids Chambly city hall, municipal garage

Quebec’s anti-corruption unit (UPAC) launched early morning raids Wednesday in the city of Chambly, targeting the municipality’s city hall, municipal garage and administrative offices.

A UPAC spokesperson would only confirm that raids were being carried out on the South Shore in connection with an ongoing investigation and that no arrests were expected to be carried out.
