John Sadler is hoping he can keep Hong Kong-owned three-year-old Big Night Out for one more run as he considers a trip to Brisbane after an impressive win at Flemington on Saturday.
Big Night Out ($3.10) is owned by Boniface Ho, who also races Everest-bound Classique Legend with Les Bridge in Sydney, as well as a string of horses in Hong Kong that includes sprinter-miler Southern Legend.
Ho has indicated to Sadler that he has Big Night Out until the end of the season and the Caulfield trainer wants to make the most of the time he has left.
«The idea for this horse has always been to go to Hong Kong,» Sadler said, identifying the group 2 Queensland Guineas in three weeks as a possible target. «Mr Ho said the horse would stay here for his three-year-old year, so how many more starts he has – one or two – I am not too sure. We will have a chat about where he is going to go.»
