Pedestrian struck at Victoria and Marine Drive in Vancouver

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Victoria Drive and SE Marine Drive in Vancouver on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Vancouver Police Department, the pedestrian was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

At 3 p.m. Victoria remained closed in both directions, while two of the three Westbound lanes on Marine Drive were also closed.

According to the Vancouver Police Department on average there are seven pedestrians a year killed by motor vehicles each year in the city.
