Blow for Manly and Maroons as Cherry-Evans ruled out for up to six weeks

Manly will be without captain Daly Cherry-Evans for up to six weeks after scans revealed the full extent of his ankle injury.

Cherry-Evans was injured early in the second half of Manly’s 24-20 win over the Raiders on Sunday afternoon and did not complete the match.

He watched his side come from behind to win with ice on his right ankle and was sent for scans on Monday.

Those scans have revealed an injury which will keep him out for between for and six weeks.
