«Parkes Way will be closed for traffic and taken over by people on bikes.
«We’ll have West African drummers serenading the riders as they cycle through the Acton Tunnel and a pedal-powered mobile DJ riding with us. We even have a cycling clown.
«There’ll be delicious food and drink and free family-friendly entertainment including a jumping castle, face painting, and Canberra singer songwriter Matt Dent.
“We have rides for all ages and abilities – starting with the five-kilometre Big Family Ride which is entirely on closed roads and free for kids. There’s a scenic 35-kilometre Big Lake Ride around Lake Burley Griffin, as well as 65-kilometre and 120-kilometre rides along popular Canberra cycling routes.»
