If you love scoring style finds at a deep discount, then you’re likely already well-aware of the annual Army & Navy shoe sale. Well, it’s back — and bigger than ever, offering “deals of the century.”

For five days (from May 1-5), the Vancouver-headquartered retailer will be offering brand-name shoes from Aldo, BCBG, Sam Edelman, Steve Madden, Betsey Johnson and more at up to 80 per cent off the retail price.

This time, though, the sale will extend beyond footwear in celebration of the retailer’s 100th anniversary, with prices as low as $1.

Army & Navy was started in 1919 by Samuel Cohen. Today, under the direction of Cohen’s granddaughter, Jacqui Cohen, the discount retailer operates five stores in Western Canada and is regarded as the region’s oldest family owned store of its kind.

The five-day sale will be on at all Army & Navy locations. Prepare for lineups.
